Automatic Deletion of Empty Bins

The deletion of empty bin location records can be a routine task that you may wish to run periodically. A command line function exists that can be used in conjunction with scheduled tasks to make this happen. This function will automatically create a delete empty bins batch for the whole warehouse and delete all empty bins found in the warehouse.

To automate the deletion of empty bins:

  1. Create a Windows batch file that will run Micronet with the following command parameter:

DELETEEMPTYBINS=?? where ?? is replaced by the warehouse you would like processed.

  1. Set the batch file to be called as a scheduled task.

Technical Tip

It is advisable to have this feature set up by Micronet Service Desk or someone with detailed knowledge of Micronet and how it is configured on your system.
